What you will learn
- Appreciation of the purpose, benefits and key concepts in monitoring, evaluation and learning;
- Understanding of the importance of integrating monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning into the project cycle;
- Appreciation of the purpose, benefits and key concepts in monitoring, evaluation and learning;
- Understanding of Theory of Change (ToC) as an approach, a product and a process, importance of being clear about why change happens – linking pathways of change to program theories;
- Understanding of elements that make up a strong and comprehensive TOC;
- Understanding of the Theory of Change (ToC) process and as a means to develop a learning framework;
- Understanding of the main types of evaluations and evaluation processes;
- Understanding of how to conduct baseline assessment and the importance of collecting baseline data;
- Understanding of qualitative evaluation methodologies and how to develop data collection instruments.
