Applying a gender lens to evaluation supports a proper analysis of how unobserved gender norms and gender discrimination can affect program implementation processes and outcomes for women and girls, men and boys. This course will help improve the overall quality of evaluations of any program by applying a rigorous methodology for gender transformative programming that can move towards achieving gender equality goals.

The objective of the workshop is to build participants’ understanding of the theory and practice underlying evaluation of advocacy and their ability to distinguish a range of methods that might be suitable for answering their evaluation questions
